Bluebox Solutions was founded in Perth in 2010 as a dedicated Microsoft applications and solutions provider.

With a track record of success in financial services, mining and resources, engineering, healthcare, pharmaceutical, government, telecommunications and sales, the Bluebox Solutions team offers its clients professional services founded on extensive real world experience.

 

Since its inception, Bluebox has proven to be a leader in the provision of Sharepoint solutions and has successfully satisfied the needs of some of Australia’s largest and most successful companies. With more than 50 clients and 2,500 users of its business applications, Bluebox Solutions has established itself as one of the leaders in the delivery of flexible business solutions on the Sharepoint platform.

2010

Bluebox Solutions is founded by five Directors and sets up in a small office in Mt Hawthorn. Work commences on a suite of SharePoint 2010 modular frameworks. Bluebox recruits its first employee (Ed) and signs its first clients. Bluebox launches its SharePoint products at the WA Mining and Exploration Expo. Recruitment continues and at the end of its first year Bluebox has 8 employees.

2011
Bluebox Solutions signs key contracts with the City of Bunbury and City of Mandurah for the delivery of tailored document management and corporate intranet solutions. Ertech joins the growing list of Bluebox clients and Bluebox continues to develop more Sharepoint solutions including its Controlled Document Management Solution which satisfies State Records compliance requirements. At the end of 2011 staff has grown to 13 employees.
2012

Bluebox Solutions grows to more than 20 active clients and continues to develop an excellent reputation as a SharePoint solutions provider of choice. Additional solutions are developed including asset registers, accounts payable modules as well as automated agenda and minutes modules for local government. At the end of 2012 staff numbers had swelled to 19 and it was time to look for new offices.

2013

Bluebox Solutions continues to grow and moves into new offices in West Perth. Bluebox becomes an approved supplier to the State Government (CUA 14008) and further expands its client portfolio into new industries. Bluebox now has clients across Local Government, Not for Profit, Mining and Engineering, Oil and Gas, Professional Services and Health. A major upgrade of modules to SharePoint 2013 is undertaken. At the end of the 2013, Bluebox Solutions has 23 staff.

2014
Bluebox Solutions has a new CEO (James Hill) and further enhances its modular frameworks. A new web site is released and Bluebox expands its product offerings into Office 365 and beyond. Bluebox solutions are now used by more than 55 organisations across Australia and more than 3000 users. Bluebox Solutions celebrates its 4th birthday.
